Add a Favicon

The word “favicon” is short for “favorite icon.” If you haven’t heard the term, we’re positive you’ve seen one before. People use them to bookmark their favorite websites. It’s a little icon, usually of a company’s logo, that makes browsing easier for the user. Why should you add one? Because it looks personal and professional at the same time. It give readers a small symbol to associate with your blog. Check out other blogging sites for more ideas on how to personalize your site. You’ll find layouts, backgrounds, textures, and skins. Make creative use of the ideas you find on the other websites. Then your blog will stand out. It won’t look generic, like most hosted blogs. Favicons make live a little easier, and lets face it, who doesn’t want that?
